Staff Profile

Lauren Anderson is an itinerant Deaf and Hard of Hearing teacher. She is new to SPPS and to Minnesota this year. As Texas native, she is excited to explore the Twin Cities and enjoy cooler weather. Lauren received her bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas at Austin in 2015 and masters degree in Deaf Education at Boston University in 2017. She worked as a teacher at Texas School for the Deaf and as a Literacy Specialist at a Regional Day School Program for the Deaf before moving to Minnesota.
