Welcome to Mrs. Casserly-Smith's Sixth Grade

My classroom is a challenging and exciting place to learn and grow academically and socially. I provide students with great opportunities for personal growth and for the development of social awareness. I have a lot of interesting activities planned this year both in and out of the classroom that will engage and promote academic rigor to all students. We are very busy preparing and taking the MCA II tests in reading and math. Please wish us good luck!

On April 24th and 25th we are going to Minnesota State University in Moorhead for an overnight science based field trip. The students are very excited and it promises to be both educational and a lot of fun! We still need 2 liter plastic soda bottles for an experiment so please send them in if you can.
