Get to Know Mrs. Yang This is my fourteenth year of teaching. I started teaching at Roosevelt Elementary School  in fall of '94 then moved to Four Seasons A+ in 1997 when it opened. I've taught in a first grade class for eight years, in a multigrade classroom for a year, then was in a third grade classroom for four years.  Last year I decided to return to  first grade.  I'm happy to be working with first graders again. I was born in Laos but grew up mostly in the United States. My family immigrated to the U.S. when I was about four years old. I have lived in the U.S. for 30 years now. My husband and I have four children.  Our two younger children also attend Four Seasons. We have a sixth grader and a first grader.  Our two oldest children are also in the St. Paul Schools. My family and I enjoy many things including: traveling, camping, fishing, sight-seeing, hiking, and getting together with our extended families.
