Sixth Annual Hockey Clinic

For the sixth year in a row, our second and fourth grade girls were invited to skate with the Irondale High School Girls' Hockey team. This is a great opportunity to learn about other opportunities in girls' athletics. Each Four Seasons student was paired with a hockey buddy from the high school team that helped them lace up and learn skating basics. Our girls caught on so quickly that we even had time for races. Afterward, we celebrated together with hot chocolate and cookies. Our fourth graders sang a holiday tune and impressed the high school girls! In the holiday spirit of giving, the hockey team gave us sweatshirts with their logo that we can wear as part of our uniform, and we gave them handmade ornaments. Thanks to the Irondale Girls' Hockey team, Schwan's SuperRink, and the Irondale Girls' Hockey Booster Club! Please enjoy the photos of our hockey clinic!
