| First Annual Family Arts Night with Hmong Heritage |  |  | | Quinn, Mrs. Rodefeld, Dr. Wilson and Mrs. Heideman celebrate Hmong Heritage Night | On December 15, 2005, Four Seasons celebrated its First Annual Family Arts Night and Hmong Heritage Celebration. Families played several Hmong games including ball toss, a rock game (similar to jacks),  | | Gaosheng, Mrs. Rodefeld and Quinn | head/quarter (similar to mancala) and a jumprope game(jump-over-the-rope-as-it's-raised game). Families also colored pajntaub or Hmong storycloth designs. The student performance section of the evening  | | Toua plays pov-pob. | was filled with fun. Mrs. Yang's third grade class danced a traditional Hmong dance in which the students focused on beautiful movements as they "sewed" pajntaub. The theatre troupes performed several  | | Mrs. Yang teaches Anna and PaChia a rock game. | entertaining skits. Choir sang many holiday favorites. Dance ensemble performed as well. Visual arts were displayed throughout the cafeteria and the main hall. After the concert, Ms. Mena's fourth graders  | | Jumping over the rope | performed two traditional Hmong folktales, Only a Toad and Nine-in-One, Grrr, Grrr.
