Note to 4th, 5th, 6th Grade Students and parents/guardians:
The summer musical this year will be-
Q and the Quest for Music
AUDITIONS for “Q and the Quest for Music” are on:
Monday, April 28 (all day)
What you will be asked to do:
•Sing one of the song excerpts on the back of this page.
•Read a script and act it out.
•Work with other people and alone.
Important things to remember for an audition:
•Be prepared.
•Sing with clear words, open sounds, match all the pitches (notes), get the rhythms and keep the steady beat.
•Speak clearly, project your voice, be expressive and enthusiastic, be convincing.
•Believe in yourself… you CAN do it.
Practice your songs online! Here’s how...
1. Go to www.fourseasons.spps.org
2. On the left navigation bar, click once on Music
3. On the right navigation bar, click once on Summer Musical
4. Click once on Audition Rehearsal Tracks
5. Click once on the title of the song that you want to practice!
